Molly Sieburg Courcelle's paintings live large. She paints abstract, organic, nature-inspired painting - in both oil and acrylic - in her studio in the River Arts District's Wedge Building. She transforms the smallest parts of nature: leaves, buds, pods, and flowers into soft-spoken but attention-grabbing abstract landscapes.
Molly carries on a family tradition of painting and a love of art, passed on from her mother, Bee Sieburg. You can find both mother and daughter at Wedge Studios, 129 Roberts Street.
Molly and her work were recently featured in the Citizen-Times' Portfolio section.
